Re: Create your own skins
Wow, I see there's so much love for Galaxy! :D Thank you all. Here it is then, an updated Galaxy for high-res displays. Download: galaxy.zip If your device doesn't need the hi-res version, I suggest you download the previous version I uploaded before. It's half the filesize. http://www.dexilog.com/s...

Re: Create your own skins
Cool! This is already great, even without hi-res. It just replaced the HTC skin on my own phone ;) Yeah, I was surprised myself when seeing it on the device for the first time. Very relaxing on the eye, soft, steel-blue colors. Kudos to the forum members who suggested Galaxy S keyboard. :D Otherwis...

Re: Create your own skins
Galaxy. Download here: galaxy.zip For now, only medium resolution display is supported. Hi-res is not finished. :) Difficult to get the colors right, considering there are tons of display types out there; AMOLED, Super-AMOLED, LCD, Super-LCD... I may work on it some time later, when I have fin...

Re: Create your own skins
Cyril, I've noticed that the png asset for <shift-locked> isn't being loaded when activated. Instead, the same asset for <shift> is being loaded for both states (locked and normal)

Re: Create your own skins
EDIT: I renamed the file in my phone memory to Skins exactly, AND I created a Skins folder to the small file (with Avatar) and the skins showed up. I'm not sure which did the trick, but I can find out by taking one of 'em away. Creating the skins folder was the right one. Anyway, thanks for the adv...

Re: Create your own skins
I'm sorry, I'm unclear. To install one of these custom skins, do I have to do the steps in the OP, or was that meant for skin designers only? If someone can clarify, that'd be great. Yes, most steps described there are for designers. To use the custom themes: Create a folder (directory) named skins...

Re: Create your own skins
I love your skin zen! How do you install these though? ._. Edit: never mind, I figured it out. But why does it look different on my phone? It's more grey... and less blue-grey. Edit2: I'd like it more if the background was like the iPhone theme :) Sadly, most Android phones have different color pro...

Chiclet
Made one, I call it Chiclet . :) Download: chiclet.zip Optimized for AMOLED displays, so that there won't be any noticeable color banding or dithering. Recommended: disable alt labels. c1.png c2.png Right now, I've only finished working on assets for medium resolution displays. I may work on the hig...

Re: Create your own skins
Hello Cyril, Love this skin feature! I have one simple item to add to the wishlist: can you add a tag in the skin.xml to have the letters and symbols be displayed in bold/normal? Maybe like, <font> true </font> or, <fontweight>bold</fontweight> As for the text on the mod keys (?123, ABC...
