Android: 4.1.0 Jelly Bean
Model: Galaxy Nexus GT-I9250 GSM
I couldn’t wait to upgrade to Jelly Bean, so I manually flashed the preliminary version (will post status update once the official OTA update is available, of course) onto my Galaxy Nexus. Since then Smart Keyboard crashes frequently and (mostly) reproducibly:
When long-pressing a character that offers additional characters and releasing the finger before the character in the popup is selected (ie. gets blue), Smart Keyboard crashes. It cannot be 100% reproduced but you will encounter a similar crash eventually, especially if you are a heavy user of the long-press-to-get-to-alternate-characters feature.
Additional configuration that might be relevant:
- Keyboard Layout German + äöü (plus Englis as language switcher key, but happens with both layouts)
- Long Press Duration is rather short
- "Alt symbols" option is enabled
