This Privacy Policy applies to all the applications developed by Dexilog, including Smart Keyboard Pro and all associated dictionary packs (“Language for Smart Keyboard”).
Dexilog doesn’t collect or share any personal data through these applications.
Smart Keyboard Pro
Smart Keyboard Pro requires the following permissions:
– Read Contacts: this is needed if you enable the “Contacts Dictionary” option, to get suggestions from your contact names
– Record Audio: this permission is used for the legacy voice input feature, which records audio and sends it to Google Voice recognition server
– External Storage (Read / Write): this permission is needed to save and restore settings from external storage
In any case, Smart Keyboard Pro has no direct access to the network, so cannot send any personal information to any server. The only interaction with the network is via Google Voice recognition service, if you use voice input feature.
Keystrokes may be recorded to feed the user dictionary (only when the “smart dictionary” option is enabled), but the data is kept only in the private storage of the application and is not shared with any third party.
Dictionary packs (“Language for Smart Keyboard”)
Dictionary packs don’t collect any personal data and don’t require any permission.
