hi Cyril,
ive just attempted this again today and im not sure it can be done in compact mode :/
entering a new word it doesnt know - you have to enter it letter by letter to be accepted - so no option to add it
i have to go into custom words and manually add a map for my new word
cheers

Re: is it possible to 'force' a new word to the user diction
hi Cyril
cool thanks. is that with learn turned off?
I'm trying out the compact mode as now used to
portrait more. so how do you do it then as if it doesn't
recognise a new word you type in the bar so can't be
selected ?

Re: Does not accept new custom words since recent update
hi all,
just come back to SKP from swype and i seem to get this issue too - i added 3 custom words - it gets 1 of them but not the other 2 - odd
cheers
dan
btw: shame you cant add these on the fly from the word suggestion rather than going to settings etc

is it possible to 'force' a new word to the user dictionary?
hi all,
i know i can turn on the 'learn new words' option - but in the past this has caused me problems with SKP learning silly words.
after using swype for a while, i think it would be a good if you could select a new word and manually add it to the dict ?
cheers

swipe technique for closing keyboard?
hi Cyril
I find the swipe to close feature good but frustrating.
sometimes it works immediately but other times it
can take 5 attempts to close!
I've got swipe sensitivity turned up to nearly Max
am I doing something wrong?
cheers

cant cope with missed space characters
Hi Cyril Is it possible for SKP to guess words better when a space character is missed due To wrong key being pressed ? I find this quite a lot. Other incorrect keys are guessed well but a space replaced By say a 'b' totally confuses it. I realise that this it harder to code because it doesn't fit t...

Re: SKP doesnt seem to correct mis spelt words
Hi Cyril
Very interesting. Previously SKP wasn't guessing any words hardly at all.
But not that I have really installed it ,it seems to be working very well
So guess must have not installed correctly the first time ?
Sorry for the grief
Cheers
