Re: Gingerbread touch to correct
My guess is you're referring to something like this: http://www.dexilog.com/smartkeyboard/fo ... ?f=2&t=670, or having the cursor touch the word to respell. If so, I agree, it would be a nice feature to add.

Re: double tap on the word for respelling or capital change
I think this would be good, too. This feature is one thing I've noticed I like a lot when using other keyboards that have it.

Capital I and autotext
I'm not really sure if this qualifies as a bug or not (Probably not, but I'll put it here anyway). I was trying to use the word replacement to replace the letter I with another word. For example: I - to be replaced with - isn't I then tried to replace i with I, so that it would still give me I when ...

Re: "Period on double space" doesn't work after brackets
I noticed that too. I put this in as a feature request here: http://www.dexilog.com/smartkeyboard/fo ... ?f=2&t=892
I also added a request for swapping the brackets with space at the end of a word, (since it doesn't do that either )

Re: Dictionary not Learning New Words
I turned off t9 and added haha manually without any problems. I think you have to do it that way if you want to add a new word to the dictionary. As far as I becoming g, you could try using the autotext to do something like: The following word: g Will be replaced by: I To force g to become I (Unless...

Re: Key height resizing live preview & Profile management
As far as the live preview. It would make it easier to actually see the key height as your modifying it.
The second suggestion seems like it means that the gesture would change the key height - in addition to changing to a t9 keyboard.

Re: Looking for beta-testers
I had a similar problem. I don't know if this will help in your case or not. Go into General Settings. Find the option "No Landscape Fullscreen (Don't switch to fullscreen mode in landscape orientation)" Make sure that it is unchecked. I noticed with some apps that I use SmartKeyboard with...

Re: "Modified" sliding feature?
I figure a lot of people may not like it, or be indifferent to it. Though it may appeal to people who like the slide keyboards a little more. I generally switch around a bit for variety. I still use Smart Keyboard the most, though. The feature could always be optional. There could be a setting to di...

)]}Swap with space and ). Period
I've noticed that some of the symbols don't swap with space the same way the comma & period do. Some symbol I would like to recommend be added are the end brackets. The ) and ] and } should be added. If you type (like this ) or [this ], there is a space after the last word, unless you backspace ...

Re: Dictionary not Learning New Words
I didn't notice this problem at first. It only seems to be affected when typing in a search field (google or the search on this forum). When typing an E-mail or using a notepad app the I appears to function normally. If it's happening in a notepad app, it may be the notepad app that's doing it. Some...
