Skins will NOT show up for me. I have done the following:
1. Created /sdcard/skins folder.
2. Placed three skins in previous folder in ".zip" form.
3. Checked "general settings--->select skin" for skins and they are not there.
What am I doing wrong?

Re: How to install skins
I cannot get any skins to show up? I have followed all the instructions, so frustrated!!!
Re: How to install skins
This is how I got the Keyboard skins to display on my Samsung Captivate.
1. Created /sdcard/skins folder...... This is where the problem was for me The skins folder you make must be in the root directory of the phone itself. Not in the sdcard folder or on your SD chip.
Skins now display and work fine.

Re: How to install skins
I give up...it just doesn't work!
I'm using a droid X & I've tried all these & nothing works. It just shouldn't be this difficult.
Everyone keeps saying in the root of your phone or SD card, but everything I've tried won't let me access he root directory

Re: How to install skins
I'm having the same problem as well and was hoping someone could help me out.
I thought that the root of the SD card or phone is where all the folders and what not are. Am I incorrect? If so, please be elaborate in what needs to be done as I have been at this for the past 2 days. Thanks

Re: How to install skins
The root of the SD card is the directory called /sdcard (or /mnt/sdcard) when you use a file explorer on your phone, but if you plug your phone to your computer via USB, the root of the SD card is just the root of the USB drive which appears on your computer.
