gesture for highlight all?

I have a droid x and it is sometimes incredibly difficult to highlight or do anything with text. I love the swipe gestures that can be associated with deleting an entire word,but was thinking it would be awesome to have a gesture setting for highlight all.

Also, maybe there is an app for this?
