I have trouble with android when trying to paste into the middle of a string of preexisting text. The problem is that you have to long press EXACTLY on the spot you want to insert and I end up trying over and over to hit the spot. A keyboard command would be nice.
For me, the simplest would be to just move the cursor to the right spot then swipe on keyboard to paste.
Another more comprehensive solution would be to have another keybpad arrangement dedicated to text selection, copying and pasting. In that, text selection could also be enhanced by using arrows to select the beginning and end of text to copy. The select/copy/paste keyboard could be accessed like the ?123 and <> keypads are selected. Perhaps this functionality could be built into the arrow keypad?
