Shift key for different languages

Post by goodie »

Could you be able to change the behavior of shift key for different language?

I think when you press shift key, the mode always changes among three different modes. (small, Capital, Caps-lock)

For Korean, there's no need for Caps-Lock mode, since Shift is only used with double consonants and double vowels.
So if it is possible to set shift key behavior, could you disable the caps-lock and allow only two modes (small and capital)?

And for Japanese, I think it would be nice to have Katakana mode instead of caps-lock.
(Actually, I am not sure whether the Shift key does anything, either..)
