Is there any way to add an option to switch to a keyboard that has only numbers on it shaped like a calculator or the numbers keypad on most computer keyboards? This would make it extremely efficient to type out numbers and codes on certain websites.
Love Smartkeyboard and this is the only thing it's missing for me.
Numbers keyboard, calculator style
Re: Numbers keyboard, calculator style
Am I the only one who wants this feature?
Re: Numbers keyboard, calculator style
Shouldn't be that hard since we have the T9 Layout, the 123-mode should bring up a number-pad with press-to-holt for alt. symbols imo. Not a bad idea, writing phone-numbers and such can be a pain as it works now...

yes I can add this keyboard easily, the only question is to know HOW to trigger it (there are many options...)

OH YES PLEASE!!!!!!!! Wow, just discovered your keyboard today, and already can't type on computer anymore!
I'm an accountant, and the one thing that has ticked off us and the engineers is that no one has yet to do a numeric keypad for when I'm working in spreadsheets. Indeed, if the cursor arrows and numeric could be on one screen...oh my would that be great. So we could navigate cells and enter numbers.
My suggestion would be to access it with a long press on the 123 button, and move the current functions to a long press on the return/enter button on the bottom right. Or better yet, just let me choose which so existing folks aren't confused.
This is really a great keyboard. Thank you so much.

Re: Numbers keyboard, calculator style
I don't think so, long press on return is now used too (to display smileys)
Maybe I could do an option to display this keypad instead of the symbols (which are a bit useless as you can long press on the regular layout to access symbols) ?

Yes. The teenagers would prefer the smileys...but the rest of us?
Where do I send the champagne when you're done?

Wait! If you could combine the numeric with the arrows...you don't need a new shortcut. Getting to the arrows would get you to the numeric. If.

I am salivating right now at the addition of this keyboard type, with the latest additions to SKP, this is now an essential, world class android app. I still keep Better Keyboard around for the numeric keypad, but I would chuck that out the window if the option was added for Smart Keyboard Pro!!!
