Hello
I implemented this in version 3.6.0 (today!!) (see this post)
The mapping is a bit different but I don't think it's a problem

You need to check the new "physical keyboard" option in the keyboard settings

Thanks for good news, cyril !

I installed 3.6.0 trial to test this feature. Well, when i open hard keyboard, Russian (Phonetic) automatically sets?
Is it possible to edit Russian (Phonetic) with this tools: http://www.dexilog.com/smartkeyboard/fo ... ?f=4&t=477 to get Russian (Transliteration) ?
Anyway, i'm going to buy your excellent product, which reflects almost suggestions and needs of users.

Actually if you set the language to Russian in the keyboard, the hard keyboard will always use a phonetic layout (even if you don't use a phonetic layout for the soft keyboard)
This is the most generic solution to avoid supporting every phone model, which may have different mappings for russian letters (for instance the weird Motorola Milestone mapping)
This is not a skin, you cannot change this

I'm not sure what you are asking for... the current feature is to convert latin letters to cyrillic letters with a QWERTY hard keyboard. Isn't it what you want?

By the way you can change the language with shit+space on the hard keyboard, maybe you didn't get that?

It works perfect! But the point is letters mapping. Transliteration rules differs from "ЯЩЕРТЫ" layout. But it also uses just english letters.

Example:
Transliteration: ж zh
Phonetic: double press "Z" key.

Speaking the truth, i've used RuKeyboard for long time and never used phonetic layout before. The rules for this keybord:
а a
б b
в v
г g
д d
е e
ё yo
ж zh
з z
и i
й j
к k
л l
м m
н n
о o
п p
р r
с s
т t
у u
ф f
х h, x
ц c
ч ch
ш sh
щ shh, w
ъ qq
ы y
ь q
э je
ю yu, ju, uu
я ya
щ shh, w
ъ qq
ы y
ь q
э je
ю yu, ju, uu

And my request is to make an option of converting hardware english keyboard.
1. Phonetic russian (works perfect now).
or
2. Transliteration (rules are in this post).

Thank you in advance!

Ah ok, I understand what you mean
It's a bit more work than for the phonetic keyboard, but I'll check if that can be done in the future
