Gesture for suggestion bar scrolling.

I was wondering if a gesture could be created that would scroll the suggestion bar, similar to the way hitting the arrow on the suggestion bar works. One gesture for right, one for left. It would make it easier to see the suggestions, since my thumb usually blocks me from seeing all of them or I inadvertently select the last word. The next gesture will do the next word and move the bar a little, but not whole sections at a time.

This is a neat idea, though I would prefer mimicing the function of the arrow, i.e. scroll whole view at once. It would be great if both were included. Also, swipe to move cursor by a whole word instead of just a character.

This might be asking for too much but what making it so that the accelerometer is used for scrolling? i.e., tilting the device one way or another to scroll, with user settings for sensitivity of tilt angle & scrolling speed?
