space after picking problem

Hi
Does anybody have the same problem as me? I have disabled "space after picking" yet it still includes a space whenever I select anything from the recommended words. I have uninstalled and re-installed the app (trial version) but still the same problem. I have a HTC one M8. I have evern cross referenced all the settings I have on my old phone (HTC one X) and still the problem persists.
Does anybody know of a fix?
