Keyboard stalling and freezing since last update.

Hello,

I have a droid X running android 2.2.1, since the last update smart keyboard will stall when typing fast or for long periods. I have had the keyboard freeze twice in which it gets stuck on the screen. I can navigate around the OS in the background and can force close it.
