keyboard for android games

Can we use the qwerty keyboard for android games in mobile phones? For an example if i have a sony ericsson xperia neo pro which has a full qwerty keyboard plus runs on android 2.3.4 gingerbread can i play battlefield company,dead space, N.O.V.A or any other android games (which normally you play with the touchscreen) with the qwerty keyboard?
